Location description

The Lesser Town (Mala Strana) hides several popular Prague’s attractions, such as Charles Bridge, the narrowest street of Prague, museum of Franz Kafka or St. Nicolas Church and is situated right under the Prague Castle. Augustine hotel shares its walls with the Wallenstein garden and is directly connected to St. Thomas church and other hidden gems. Rooms description

101 unique rooms and suites were designed by Olga Pollizzi, who carefully combined unique historical characteristics from vaulted ceilings to wooden beams with contemporary Czech cubism design. No two rooms are the same and each of the exquisite rooms preserves a piece of the Augustinian heritage as most of them were assembled from 2 to 3 monks’ cells. Signature suites rank among the most iconic and luxurious suites in Prague, such as suite with original fresco wall or 3-floor suite housed in former astronomical tower with unrivaled 360° view of Prague. Spacious marble bathrooms with heated floor will delight every guest. The Presidential suite was awarded the prestigious World Travel Award two years in a row.

Services description

Augustine restaurant and the tranquil garden provide rare culinary experiences, from the rich breakfast with Eggs Benedicts, through evening with seasonal tasting experience to garden BBQ and Sunday brunch with bottomless glass of Champagne.

The Refectory bar is a former refectory of Augustinian monks and today boasts its own modern storytelling mixology such as Archangel’s cocktails, inspired by the original fresco ceiling of the bar. It is the only place to taste the famous monastic St. Thomas beer, with an original recipe by monks from the 14th century.

The Augustine Spa hides a Finnish sauna and steam room and offers distinctive relaxing massages from professionals who have been inspired by the simplicity and purity of nature and use only organic products.

The Augustine concierge team, with members honored by the international association Les Clefs d’Or, is a personal destination guide to each and every guest. Concierge may also arrange a tour of the Augustinian monastery with one of the monks.
