The Friesovy boudy mountain resort is located at an altitude of 1217 m right in the heart of the Giant Mountains and offers modern and comprehensive services for the ultimate recreational and relaxation experience. We provide children\’s playrooms and playgrounds, a wellness area, our own 900m ski lift, luxury rooms and top-notch gastronomy. From the fresh mountain spring water directly from our meadow, we brew our very own Fries beer, which is as delicate as the spring water itself. At 1217m up, our hotel offs spectacular and unforgettable views of the surroundings. Tourist routes and Nordic walking
There are several tourist trails in the area surrounding the Friesovy boudy resort – towards Špindlerův Mlýn and Sněžka, the red trail to Černá hora, Jánské Lázně and the linked blue trail to Pec pod Sněžkou. Follow the red trail to Vrchlabí, where other trails leading to surroundings meet, including Žalý and Benecko (the yellow trail) or to Dolní Dvůr and Pec pod Sněžkou (the blue trail). A free tourist map is available to the hotel guests at the reception desk.

Rooms are equipped with a shower, a toilet, a TV set and a hairdryer.

Exclusive double room

Rooms with high standard sizes are equipped with a shower, a toilet, a satellite TV, a mini bar, a safe and a hairdryer. An extra bed can be added to the room.

Apartments

Apartments for 4-6 persons are equipped with a shower, a toilet and a TV set. The apartments are composed of two rooms.

* All rooms are equipped with free internet access. There is a small kitchen with a sink and a microwave oven on both hotel floors.

* At the reception, you can pick up a sewing kit, borrow a hair dryer and a children´s set (crib, blankets, remote baby monitor, bathing bucket).

Restaurant

The Friesovy boudy resort is closed in April and November.

Restaurant: Mon – Sun 11.30 – 22.00

The restaurant offers local specialties and international cuisine that will satisfy any gourmet. Its capacity is 90 seats, including the bar and the club.

The restaurant includes a lounge with a fireplace and comfortable sofas where guests can enjoy a cup of coffee or other drinks from the hotel menu.

The bar offers a standard beverage menu complete with special alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails and our own original Fries beer brewed at Penzion Andula.

The restaurant has children’s highchairs available.

The traditions of the ancestors and the skills of contemporary craftsmen, farmers and creators combine with the nature of the Giant mountains and the foothills. Products from the Giant Mountains therefore deserve proper awards because they have a good basis and are proven by tradition. Friesovy boudy resort is a manufacturer and distributor of these original products.

Cross-country skiing
Those who prefer cross-country have an ideal starting point for tours to the highest peak of the Czech Republic – Sněžka. The cross–country tracks are connected to the Giant Mountain’s artery, which passes directly through the area of the Friesovy boudy resort. The tracks are trimmed twice a week, or more frequently in case of snow calamities. The total length of conditioned tracks in the area is 42.7 km. Two trimmed circuits with different elevations are available. Every skier can thus make up his/her mind according to their current fitness and use cross-country trails of various difficulties. A free tourist map is available to the hotel guests at the reception desk.

Sled and bobsleigh track
The area also includes a sled track built of natural snow, which will satisfy all fans of just-above-the-snow speed.
